Nightcaps Improv doesn't just put on one type of show and call it good. No way, that sounds boring! We like to mix our shows up and provide different events for people with varying tastes to enjoy. Whether you want to see us take awful shots, pretend to be pro wrestlers, compete against other improvisers tournament-style, or you just want to watch some damn good improv, Nightcaps Improv has you covered!
Shots 'n' Giggles
This is the show that started it all for us. Our players take the stage sober, but that doesn't last long. Within minutes the shots are flowing and the players are faced with the challenge of keeping up with all the improv games the host throws at them while they get more and more intoxicated throughout. Shots 'n' Giggles is the longest current continuously running show in the Quad Cities, having been produced for 15 years in a row! If this sounds like your kind of party, get your butt n your car and get down to join us for a night of laughter, socials, and a whole lot of debauchery!

Improvmania
Our love letter to the greatest form of performance art there is, pro wrestling. Improvmania is for our players who never had the athletic acumen to become pro wrestlers, and this is the closest they'll get. Incorporating pro wrestling themes such as cutting promos on the other players, elaborate entrances, and a championship belt. Four players take the stage and a scorekeeper keeps track of how funny they are. The two funniest players go on to play the final game which determines who will leave with the Nightcaps Improv Comedy Championship title belt.

Improvpalooza
It's madness in March, improv style baybay! Improvpalooza is the ultimate improv tournament! Sixteen individuals partake in a test of their improv skills over the course of three Saturdays. The four improvisers who score the most audience votes combined with weighted judges' votes at the prelims move on to play in the Finals where the winner of Improvpalooza will leave with The 'Palooza Cup and a large cash reward!
